NOTE-TAKING
Paper and pen (or digital bytes) last longer than your memory, so we've crafted a list of four ways you can take notes during this series.
1. Our Authentic Christianity Series Notebook

With lots of extra information, details, and devotionals, we've put together this resource so you can keep all your notes from this series in one place. Find links and instructions on how to get one of three formats below. If you're looking to go the traditional route with your notes, we highly recommend taking advantage of this notebook!
2. Notes App for Android or Apple

If you have a smartphone, odds are you already takes random notes on your phone from to-do lists to homework assignments to notes you're passing to friends. If you're used to taking notes on your phone, there's nothing wrong with that! Keep it up as you listen to the lessons, so you'll be able to share in Small Groups.
3. Evernote

Aside from the leather-bound notebook he keeps in his back pocket, Evernote is Pastor Dan's note-taking method of choice. Evernote allows you to take notes on your phone or computer and access them anywhere. Setting up an account is quick and easy. If you're looking for a new way to take digital notes, ask your parents and check out Evernote.
4. Your Own Handy Dandy Notebook

Maybe you already have a notebook you use to take notes in during Youth Group. As we go through this series and you hear Pastor Dan reference aspects of the Authentic Christianity notebook, jot down titles and ideas in your own. Someday you'll have a notebook filled with your thoughts and ideas from along your journey of faith. That's priceless!

No matter how you want to use the Authentic Christianity notebook, we've got you covered with multiple formats.
Booklet Format

In our opinion, this is the ideal version of the notebook. This version allows you to print the PDF double-sided, staple it in the middle of the page, fold it in half, and use the notebook as a booklet.

Best For:
-
Using as a booklet.
-
Carrying with your Bible.
-
Keeping all your notes in one place.
Linear Format

If figuring out how to get the PDF to print on both sides of the page sounds too stressful, or you're planning on mainly reading through the notebook on your computer, then we would recommend using this format. You'll still see the left and the right pages on a single page, but it will keep all the pages in normal reading order, unlike the booklet format. Print it out, staple it in the corner, and you're good to go!

Best For:
-
Simple printing.
-
Reading on a computer.
